intel ethernet connections 1217 LM

I have lenovo w540 thinkpad , i7 4910mq cpu, 16 gb ram and 256 ssd, running win 7 pro x64 vit.

when i boot my system , i see an error in the windows event viewer with regards to event id 27

Intel(R) Ethernet Connection I217-LM

Network link is disconnected.

though i am not facing any connectivity issues.

any help?/
