Hello, I recently purchased a intel controller i226-v for my pc to run my wide format printers.
I have installed the card and tried to install the latest drivers (release 28.3) but i can't get the card to work.
It has exclamation marks in device manager. I've tried to unistall and reinstall drivers many times, but no luck. Still states "
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
Windows cannot verify the digital signature for this file. The signing certificate for this file has expired."
Help please!!
Running windows 10 (says its updated)
x570 aorus elite wifi motherboard
with AMD Ryzen 3700x processor.
Please Help!

Hello jason90j,
Thank you for your feedback, As per check its able to detected in Device manager seems like no hardware issue, this is more to software/driver related issue. I would suggest you to perform Windows Recovery / Reset including all the drivers will be update. Please ensure latest BIOS firmware flash as well. For further concern please do let us know.
Thank you & Best Regards,

Hi Jason,
Same problem here. Version 27.8 are installing properly. Then you can install 28.1.1 on top of that. If you try to install newer drivers then the error occurs again. I have tried the 'complete' driver pack and the 'wired' drivers. They all give the same error and are not working. Had contact with Intel support many times, but the case was closed at the end with the following message:
"As per the adapter link shared, we see this is a not an Intel network card, however has an Intel chip i226-V and this is installed on a Asus H370 Plus motherboard. In order to resolve the issue reported, we request please contact the respective OEM for a SW driver version that is compatible with the system."
Very disapointing result.

I see a similar problem with my i226-V PCIe card on Windows 10.
Versions 27.8, 28.0, and 28.2 work correctly, but 28.3 and 29.0 fail with a yellow exclamation mark and "Code 39".

I have the same problem with Intel I226-T1 PCIe card and version 29.0 and 29.01. Windows gives a code 39 error.
