IAN I218 V connection in Windows 10, 64bit, i-5, 4590 processor. is slow. Do I upgrade to I219 -V?, ASUS Z-97E motherboard?

Thank you for the post. With regards to the slowness of I218V on your Asus board,
you can try upgrade to newer driver. We have Windows 10 driver for I218V available for download at https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25016/Intel-Network-Adapter-Driver-for-Windows-10?product=71305
However this is a generic version in which we do not guarantee 100% compatibility. Please try contact Asus* for the latest customized driver which suits your system. As this is an onboard NIC, you need to check with Asus about the upgrade as they are the one who is authorize for the hardware upgrade on their system.
