Hi,

We have a PC system built with an MSI IM-GM45 motherboard, where one of the two LAN ports has failed.

The LAN port does not light up when connected. It does not show up in device manager. The other port shows up and works fine.

I have applied the latest Intel driver (14.8.3), but this has not resolved the problem.

Looking at the MSI motherboard manual, the missing port is Intel 82567LM (the valid port is Intel 82574L).

Q. Is it common to get issues like this?

Q. Any advise, or is this a dead port?
