"X540 Bypass Adapter" Driver does support the IEEE1588(PTP) ?

Linux Kernel Version: 3.9.0

Target Device: Ethernet Server Bypass Adapter X520/X540

Package: ixgbe-4.4.0.19.tar.gz

Package Unpacked and next executed.

# make CFLAGS_EXTRA="-DIXGBE_PTP" install

bud "ixgbe_ptp.o" is not built.

I got driver from AVNET, inc. Under 'Intel CNDA35191'.

Please contact Avnet to further check on this as the x540 bypass NIC is installed on their system.

At first, I asked this issue to Intel via Avnet Japan.

The answer is,

Is it preferable to ask to Avnet Japan AGAIN?
