Hello,
I just received my new dell server and the Intel x550-t2 card does not show up in the vmware console. Do I need to install drivers for it to work properly? It is displayed as compatible with VMWare so I thought it would work right out of the box but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Hi Advnetsol,
Thank you for posting in Wired Communities. You may refer to this website regarding Intel
network adapter support in Vmware https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005693/network-and-i-o/ethernet-products.html
If the driver is not available in the OS, please locate the driver from Vmware support site. I managed to search the Vmware site and you may refer to the link below to install the driver:

Please feel free to update me.
Thanks,
