Hi
I am trying to update firmware to my x710 card using linux and nvmupdate64e
But tools says that update is not available, am i doing something wrong ?

What is the serial number of your X710 network adapter? You may check this website out on where to locate the serial number

Ther serial number has the format of 5 digits + 6 digits + 6-3 digits

OK i see that is "Adapter for IBM System x" but was sold as Intel
trying intc_sw_nic_v20.3-cd_anyos_32-64.iso without success (firmware 4.50)
intc_sw_nic_v20.0-cd_anyos_32-64.iso (4.42) worked fine

Try to get the firmware from IBM, the available firmware on our website is here https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24769/NVM-Update-Utility-for-Intel-Ethernet-Converged-Network-Adapter-XL710-X710-Series?wapkw=x710 Download NVM Update Utility for Intel® Ethernet Converged Network Adapter XL710 & X710 Series but it is recommended to uset he OEM version if you are using an OEM NIC.
