Im sure you all heard about the interference issue when using USB 3.0 type c and wireless connection together right? Which i think mostly happend on Macbook. Well I think I have this problem.
I just bought aorus 5 laptop from gigabyte which have a type c port with spec of Display port 1.4 Type C over USB 3.2 Gen 2. Im trying to use an ssd nvme adapter with the port but weird things happend. As soon i connected the device, it was detected and transfering files with blazing speed. The downside was, im losing wireless connection as well as bluetooth. The connection just drop and disconnect from my wireless router. This case happens only with my 5ghz wireless signal, but none happend when im tried to use with 2.4ghz wireless so wireless connection with 2.4 works just fine. I thought it was the cable fault. I have bought another type c cable which the speed only limit to 480mbps (USB 2.0) and tried to pair with type c nvme adapter to my laptop. The adapter works fine and the wireless finally works again. But the transfer speed is quite slow maybe because of the cable which limit the transmission rate up to 480mbps. I bought a new cable again but with 5.0gbps tranmission support
What do you guys think? Is it my type c adapter faulty or my laptop is the problem one? Because I have tried with other laptop and it works just fine 🥺. Is my motherboard at faulty here. Hope you guys can help me.
Thanks!
Owh ya, this is my pc specification:
Intel Core i7 10750H
16GB RAM
Two NVME SSD installed in the laptop.
Intel Wifi 6 ax200 160mhz
