Hello,

I am new in this forum but nevertheless I hope someone can help me with my task.

I am looking for the Altera primitives for designing, just the way we have in Xilinx.

Does anyone know where do i find those primitives.

Any help is welcome.

Thanks

I ported an Actel design to Altera. The design was in VHDL and called the Actel primatives. To make the design work correctly for use, we just re-wrote all of the Actel primatives in VHDL for Altera. So each of gates and flipflops called in the design, we wrote an equivalent in VHDL.

If your are porting an old design this works well. Otherwise, I would recommend you learning the Altera primatives.
