I want to use Arria 10 PCIE which support gen 3. I want to know will it support a mother board with gen2 and gen1 as well?
I think PCIE gen3 device should able to support gen2 and gen1. But just want to double confirm. Thanks!

Yes, all PCIe device has backward compatibility. If the PCIe device is gen3. It will also work in Gen2 and Gen1 slot as well.
