Hi all,
Is there any latest Intel FPGA family which supports MIPI D-PHY?
I've referred some documents and found out that Intel Agilex 5 has support for D-PHY v2.5, but the latest Quartus Prime tool has no support for Agilex 5
Please suggest any latest FPGA family or Older tool version ( supporting Intel Agilex 5) which supports MIPI D-PHY !

Hi Arune34,
Thanks for using our platform. Allow me have some time to check the Quartus version that can support the MIPI D-PHY since Agilex 5 is new to our company.
I will get back to you with findings.
Best regards,
Zi Ying

Hi Arune34,
According to my own understanding, currently the devices that can support for the MIPI D-PHY are Cyclone IV, Cyclone V, Intel Cyclone 10 LP and Intel MAX 10. For further information about the MIPI D-PHY, you may refer to link below https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/programmable/683092/current/an-754-mipi-d-phy-solution-with-passive.html

Hi zying,
Thanks for your reply.
I can understand that the mentioned devices have support for MIPI D-PHY, but the latest version of Intel Quartus Prime (Standard & Pro edition) software doesn't seem to have D-PHY in its IP Catalog, not sure if I've overlooked it.
Could you please let me know which version (may be older) of Intel Quartus Prime software has D-PHY in its IP Catalog.
Attached a snapshot of the IP catalog (without D-PHY) for Cyclone V FPGA of Intel Quartus Standard edition's latest software.
Thanks & Regards,
Arun

Hi Arun,
As per my understanding about the latest Quartus version for MIPI D-PHY, it should be the Quartus Prime 18.1 Standard version.
In our FPGA Design Store, I found a reference design of MIPI D-PHY that might be useful to you. This reference design using Quartus Prime 18.1 standard version. For further information about this design, please do refer link below https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/design-example/714841/max-10-mipi-csi2-rx-tx-with-passive-d-phy.html
Please get the license as mentioned in UG inside the .par file because the design was encrypted.
