I'd like to use CYCLONE V (5CGXFC7D7F31C8). I have 32 LVDS channels that I want to serially shift into the device. Each word is 12b long. The problem is that ALTLVDS_RX megafunction allows only to choose 10b word. Is there any way to extend the size to 12b? Regards!
I think you can do 6b words at twice the clock rate, and then stitch them together in the fabric. (I believe the physical buffer in the I/O block is only 10b long, which is why it's limited...)
