Hello!
I'm Using Altera Serial Digital Interface MegaCore to transmit 1,485Gbit video at 1920x1080 resolution... When i'm use 1080i bitstream, all works ok! But when i've change it to progressive frame, my HD-SDI Adapter doesn't see Video signal :( When i've read Altera Application Note 641 and browse Source code of it, i've found this strange line at file sdi_pattern_gen.v: " 1080p only for 3G modes." What does it means? According to SMPTE 292M and 274M: HD-SDI support 1080p at 30 Hz.... And according to SDI User's Guide, This core support all resolutions of HD-SDI... But why i can't implement 1080p30 resolution at 1,485 Gbit HD-SDI channel? I'm using single channel, sigle standart SDI output with 74,25MHz clocks at tx_serial_refclk and tx_pclk... My FPGA is Cyclone IV GX (EP4CGX150DF31) P.S. Sorry for my bad English, but i don't know where else i can ask for solution!Link Copied

I am pretty sure it should work. Are the timing requirements met?
