Hello,
I have a Arria 10 project using the Intel HDMI 2.1 core in AXIS-VVP Full mode. The board support package (BSP) generation reports that the "intel_hdmi21_driver" is detected for inclusion. However, the driver files are never copied into the BPS driver folder during the nios2-bsp-generate-files step.
After investigation, I have found that in 23.2 callback TCL script only adds driver inc/src files for the Agilex 7 device family:
See: intelFPGA_pro\23.2\ip\altera\altera_hdmi\hw_demo\common\software\software_driver\callbacks.tcl
In version 22.4, a callback file was not used and instead the altera_hdmi_sw.tcl script added the headers and source files for the driver unconditionally (i.e., no family check).
Is this a mistake that will be fixed in a future version? If so, is there a workaround that doesn't require modifying the Quartus install TCL file to remove the family check?
Thank you,
David
