[HDMI-IP] Cyclone 10 -> only FRL=0 available? HDMI v2.x not supported?

Hi All,

I'm using the Intel HDMI-IP in Cyclone-10 (Quartus v19.3). Does the IP support HDMI v2.x ? According to the page #4, the FRL is available for Arria-10 only.

Here is from UG page4 of the IP:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Device Family: Supports Intel Stratix® 10 (H-tile and L-tile), Intel Arria 10,
Intel Cyclone® 10 GX, Arria V, and Stratix V FPGA devices
Note: HDMI 2.1 with FRL enabled supports only Intel Arria-10 devices.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thank you!

Hi amildm,

Good day.

Yes you are correct.

HDMI IP does support HDMI 2.1(FRL) but the final support is only for Arria 10 device.

I'm afraid Cyclone 10 does not support HDMI 2.1 at the moment.

Thank you.
