[HELP] FIR Filter - IP Catalog

Hey guys,

We are german students and we have to build an example of a FIR-Filter from the IP Catalog useing Quartus 14.1.0.

Our problem is that the bandwith is to small or to wide.

We use a Clock Rate of 18.345 MHz and a Sample Rate of 96 kHz.

In Matlab we generate the coefficients for the Filter characteristics we want (see attachments for coefficients) and insert them with the right format to Quartus.

In the Altera IP Catalog FIR-Filter settings we get with a Sample Rate of 96 kHz just a small bandwith of 48 Hz but we need a bandwith of 48 kHz.

We tryed many different settings but in that frequenzy area our bandwith is always that small like the picture shows.

Now we don't know how to solve this problem...

Would be very nice if you can give us some tips of how to set the FIR-Filter correctly.

96khz sampling rate means a frequency domain of 0~48khz so your filter is for what?
