Good morning !
Does anybody know how to modify the altcf IP (Compact Flash) to obtain PIO mode >0 with quartus 9.0 or 9.1 ? I saw on this forum that I have to modify waiting time the class.ptf of the altcf IP. However, this change doen't modify the ptf file of my project . Thank you in advanceLink Copied

What do you mean by 'PIO mode'?
For an x86 PC the various PIO modes change the bus master cycle timings, on an embedded system they are usually fixed (fast) by the hardware design.- Mark as New

there are different types of PIO modes for Compact Flash cards and this varies for different compact flash cards. you can find more info at
