Hi all

I'm trying to send a COMINIT primitive to a SATA 2 HD using the stratixIV developement kit and the terasic HMSC-SATA/SAS daughter card.

I send the SATA primitive BC4A4A7B in 6 106.7 ns bursts spaced with a 320 ns pause.

I configured a transceiver with a basic 8b/10b protocol with a 32 bits wide input and a 75 mhz refclock to achieve the 3gb/s band.

i manage to send the signal but i get no response from the HD.

Has anyone already solved the same problem?

i can provide as much info as you need.
