What is the shelf life of (discontinued) FPGA EP1C12Q240C6N ?
= is there a limitation in the storage time until they have to be soldered to a PCB ?
and : is it necessary to treat parts in a special way which are kept on stock for a certain time before soldering to a PCB ?

Hi,
Thank you for contacting Intel community.
Please note that Intel devices has the shelf life of 36months (per JEDEC J-STD-033B.1). Please refer to the ADV document below. https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/programmable/us/en/pdfs/literature/pcn/adv1818.pdf. Shelf-life information is contained on the Moisture Barrier Bag label.
Kindly refer to AN353 for process reflow.

There is limited information for EOL devices hence kindly refer to device datasheet for further information.
Thanks.
Regards,
Aiman

Dear Aiman,
I am sorry to bother you again.
Is the 36 months shelf life also valid for EPCS4SI8N ?
Best regards
Martin
