Stratix III DDR3 ALTMEMPHY calibration fail

Hi

Does anyone know if Altmemphy failed calibration, does it still get to user mode where I can sent out memory read and write at default latency? or how to disable calibration altogether. The document said you can disable calibration if you are running 400MHz or below but I don't see the option.

Thanks

As far as I remember, the memory controller is stopped when calibration fails. Generally, calibration failure indicates a basic memory interface problem, e.g. missing signals, thus no meaningful operation can be expected in this case. Skip calibration is a simulation option, not available for synthesis.
