Will "V-Series Transceiver PHY" work for KX4?

I need to come up with a design that can interface to some legacy equipment that communicates via a backplane using 10GBASE-KX4

KX4 uses the same physical layer as CX4

CX4 uses the same 4-lane PCS as XAUI

The V-Series Transceiver PHY supports XAUI

As near as I can tell the only difference would be in electrical specifications.

Will the V-Series Transceiver PHY work for KX4?
