Hi,

I'm a student in a university and I'm participating in building of some FPGA board.

I want to use Megacore function but I don't know what kind of license I have for that function ( FFT). how do i find out that??

( it is not development kit we plan separate board)

thanks...

Hi,

try Quarts II --> Tools/License Setup/

The Licensed MegaCore functions are listet in the window.

E.g. Vendor Altera(6AF7) FFT/IFFT(0034)

Hi,

for an FFT you don't need a PLL.

The PLL can be used to generate stable frequencies or recover signals.

Or you can generate any output frequency.
