I want to use serdes in a2gx with no 8b/10b,I scramble my packet data myself, then 20 percent payload can be saved. But I do not know how long the consecutive '0's or '1's can let the CDR of receiver serdes working metestablely, another means is that what is max number consecutive '0's or '1's can serial stream have? Thanks

Look for the 'Run length' parameter in the DC switching characteristics part of the handbook. The Stratix IV GX handbook specifies 200 UI (unit intervals). You'll have to look at the Stratix II GX handbook for a similar specification.
