Dear Intel Support/Expert,

I have some problems while simulate AN829 in PIPE mode.  I am using Quartus 21.3, PCIe Gen3 8 line.  I can run in serial mode, but failed to run in PIPE mode.

1. question.

I noticed that at this link

Design Example - PHY Interface for PCI Express (PIPE) - Intel Communities

it claimed that the PIPE only supports Gen1 and Gen2. is this true in the latest Quartus 21.3. if true, then ignore this post. if not please have a look at the attached file. it has detail description of the problem I have.

thank you,

David
