Any good alternative to MAX 10 Development Kit?

I wanted to get the MAX 10 Dev kit in order to follow the example designs posted in some of the online training. However, the MAX 10 Dev kit is out of stock in Altera's e-store and most of its distributors. Any recommendations to other Dev Kit I could get for around $200 and that I could use to follow the training examples? For instance, would the Cyclone V SX SoC Dev Kit ($350) work fine to follow the online training examples?

Terasic has a very large selection of Altera-based development boards, including MAX10 based (low end for just US$49).

What's your desired online training examples, any link?  Besides, MAX 10 Dev kit is more of a pure FPGA configuration, while Cyclone V SX SoC Dev Kit is a different SoC one, if you just want to use fpga to control ethernet, then MAX 10 Dev kit is okay, or Cyclone V SX SoC Dev Kit may not suitable for you due to the ethernet is controlled by ARM CPU instead.  Regards, Nikita, Terasic

I will probably end up doing some math computation. The example I was watching creates a 4 bit binary counter that counts using the LEDs in the MAX 10 Dev kit. I found the MAX 10 dev kit available from Mouser. If no other recommendations I will probably get one from them.

Hi, it seems that you focus on some basic logic and simple design now, no special interface needed, maybe DE0-Nano or DE0-CV is enough, affordable and easy to use.
