Are people still using CPLD?

I do not see current posts concerning CPLDs. Everything seems to be FPGAs.

Should I just skip CPLDs. If not, which development board should I start learning with?

Of course my dear friend. CPLD is useful to be the controller system due to its fast boot up capability.

I would suggest you to get MAX 10 Development Kit from us and start with your CPLD journey. Enjoy.

Thanks very much for the information. My confusion with the MAX 10 boards is they all talk about FPGA and not CPLD. Can you explain?

Thanks,

Sid

MAX series is CPLD / FPGA. Whereas Cyclone, Stratix, Arria and Agilex are FPGA.
