Are the devices 5CSEBA5U23I7N and 5CSEBA5U23I7SN Compatible

We have designed schematics for the part 5CSEBA5U23I7SN (single core) but ordered the part for dual core 5CSEBA5U23I7N.

Are both of these parts foot print compatible so that I can assemble the dual core part in place of single core part ?

Hi there

You can check on the section "Migrating Assignments to Another Target Device" in document below:

https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/programmable/us/en/pdfs/literature/hb/qts/qts_qii5v2.pdf

From what I have seen in Quartus, these 2 devices are I/O compatible with similar package types. Refer also to section "I/O Vertical Migration for Cyclone V Devices" in https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/programmable/us/en/pdfs/literature/hb/cyclone-v/cv_51001.pdf for Cyclone V migration compatibility.

Thanks.
