We have 2pieces of Arria-10-SOC-development-kit board from Intel.

WE tried to update the on-board EPCQL1024 flash.The detailed steps as following:

1) Switch On board's “SW4 Bit-3" as High "1", that will config FPGA as AS Mode;

2) convert *.sof to *.jic format file, Then use JTAG to burn .jic

Problem is : always we saw ERROR :

" 209012 Operation Failed ", never succeed to work out.

Does anyone have experience with updating the EPCQL1024 flash via JTAG on Arria10SOc board ? thanks in advance !!

Hi 3000021845821.562225903895492E12 ,

Can you kindly try to reduce your TCK frequency to 6 MHz?

Below link is the command to change TCK frequency (on page 14= 2.8. Changing the TCK Frequency)

https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/programmable/us/en/pdfs/literature/ug/ug_usb_blstr_ii_cable.pdf#page=14

Kindly try it out with your design and let me know the result.

Thanks

Hi @JET60200,

I came across the same issue, and the fix turned out to be bypass MAXV IO Mux from JTAG chain (by switching SW3.2 to UP position)
