Beginner Questions - Cyclone III Embedded Development Kit

Hello all,

I just started using the Cyclone III Embedded Development Kit (http://www.altera.com/products/devkits/altera/kit-emb-dev-cyc3.html).

I have gone through the user guide, reference manual and schematics. I also see that there are demo files which we can select and run using the touch panel LCD.

My questions are:

1. Is there any pin list file in .csv format provided?

2. I want to write my own Verilog HDL design to do some simple image processing. For example, I want to take a gray scale image and do the edge detection operation. Then I want to send it to the LCD display to observe the averaging effect. Can I do this using this kit? If so, can anyone please help me how to proceed.
