Compile error on BEMicro SDK tutorial

I am new to the BE Micro SDK and i am doing the tutorial and I'm having a compile error of this nature. Could anyone help me with that.

Sorry I can't help with your error. I was looking for help also.  

 I followed the lab pdf closely and got through the qsys section without an issue. But I get 4 compiler errors after that.  I am using Quartus II V12. The lab pdf says version 10 November 2010.  Any ideas?  Info (176444): Device migration not selected.
