Hi, I'm new to the FPGA world and I have an Altera UP3 with a CYCLONE 1. I would like to connect the board to the pc for the Quartus program but I can't see the board on windows. Now I'm using Windows 10 and Quartus 9.1, I'm connecting the board with a Byteblaster 2 and an LPT port to USB2.0 converter. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi PPerr5,
It's old development kit. your are not going to get any support from Intel Altera.
However,
- Is your board working, can you see led's toggling.(Assuming board is working)
- Open Programmer from tools menu.
- Click on Hardware setup button.
- Select the hardware from the drop down list, hardware type=ByteBlaster II and port=LTP1.
If you can't see the option in drop down list. It may be due to drivers or LPT port to USB2.0 issues.
However you can find more information from below link.
