Is it the stratix III dev kit? What is the other daughterboard that you want to connect?
The Stratix Dev kit has two HSMC connectors. Each one of those can accept one daughterboard, such as the THDB-Sum. The THDB-Sum itself can only accept Santa Cruz daughter boards.- Mark as New

Hi Moganesh,
On the DE3 Stratix III Dev Kit, the HSTC connectors are male, and the THDB-SUM HSMC connectors are also male. They are compatible but you must use a female-to-female adapter in-between. These should have been included in the DE3 package. Please do NOT insert the daughter card on the underside of the development kit. You will risk damaging the FPGA.last 3 days to win a de0-nano: www.event.terasic.com (http://www.event.terasic.com)

I'm sure you have tried this, but just in case, you can look at the pin assignments in the product manuals.
You can find the DE3 Manual at: http://www.terasic.com.tw/cgi-bin/page/archive.pl?language=english&categoryno=39&no=260&partno=4 You can find the THDB-SUM Manual at: http://www.terasic.com.tw/cgi-bin/page/archive.pl?language=english&categoryno=67&no=312&partno=3 last 3 days to win a de0-nano: www.event.terasic.com (http://www.event.terasic.com/)- Mark as New
