I have a brand new Cyclone III development kit from Altera. I am trying to run the simple socket server, but when I start it I get this error:
--- Quote Start --- InterNiche Portable TCP/IP, v3.1 Copyright 1996-2008 by InterNiche Technologies. All rights reserved. prep_tse_mac 0 Can't read the MAC address from your board (this probably means that your flash was erased). We will assign you a MAC address and static network settings Please enter your 9-digit serial number. This is printed on a label under your Nios dev. board. The first 3 digits of the label are ASJ and the serial number follows this. -->Created "Inet main" task (Prio: 2) Created "clock tick" task (Prio: 3) --- Quote End --- There is no sticker like this on my board. There are some stickers but none match the description of starting with ASJ. When I try entering a random number (987564215) I get this: --- Quote Start --- 987564215 98756421 Serial number only contains decimal digits and is non-zero Please enter your 9-digit serial number. This is printed on a label under your Nios dev. board. The first 3 digits of the label are ASJ and the serial number follows this. -->5 --- Quote End --- What can I do to get past this?Link Copied

Who cares of that MAC address... Edit the code to enter Your own. It's even better for debug.
