I have a problem while deploying a program into my DE10-nano board. I am able to detect the board successfully inside the programmer tool in Quartus. However, when I click in start, the progress fails.
Any suggestion on how to fix this issue?
Regards,
Houssein

Hi,
-Is there any error message shown?
-What Quartus version are you using?
-Has this DE10-nano board ever work before?

Hi @HousseinKanso ,
As DE10-nano is SoC FPGA board, the HPS SoC should be included in the JTAG chain.
Based on the screenshot you provided, you need to click Auto Detect button to detect and choose the FPGA device, then FPGA and HPS devices will shown in the JTAG chain, as shown in the attached figure , right click on the 5CSEBA6 FPGA device then click Change File to choose your own .sof and download it.

Hello,
Please refer to DE-10 Nano user guide as per attached.
You should be able to see 2 entities.
1. SOC device
2. FPGA
Choose the FPGA and load the .sof file, then program. It should work.
If you can't see above, must be something wrong with your dip switch setting to not default.

Farabi
