Our application needs high speed USB data transfer between the DE3 kit and our application. I know the programming is done through the USB blaster. But, can we use the other USB ports for data transfer. Also, do we have to write our own driver on the FPGA side and the application side(C++) or is there a library like quickusb for DE3 stratix III?
Thanks for your time.Link Copied

I think you have to write your own driver. Not sure though..

You'll find Nios II demonstration examples for the high-speed USB interface with the DE3 CD, also Windows drivers and PC test applications. You should check, what you can re-use for your application.

What is the maximum speed of data transfer I can get? Can I get USB speeds? Trying to figure out if the DE-3 is the right kit for our project. If not, I will start looking into other kits.
