Hello! I have my custom board on Arria 10 with DisplayPort interface and I want to display some image (at least colorbars from TPG) on my external display. I have downloaded project "Intel Arria 10 DisplayPort TX-only Design", set it up with Intel DisplayPort Bandwidth & PCR Calculator, and followed the quick start guide, but by display shows nothing (it just goes to power saving mode). What could I do wrong? DP-interface is laid out as on devkit board. VIP signals are valid (according to SignalTap)
Thank you for attention!

Hi Andrey4,
Good day.
Thank you for your reply.
The reference design that is uploaded into Intel design store is a older version of Displayport TX-only design which is using Quartus version 18.1.
For you to use this design, you may need to use the same version of Quartus software to avoid any error in software and IP migration.
We suggest you to use the same Quartus software version as the project you downloaded or you may generate the Displayport TX-only design directly from IP catalog in Intel Quartus software version 21.4 onwards.
Just to note, our design example uses Bitec FMC daughter card, so there will be definition and functions of the daughter card in the rtl code.
If you wish to use your custom board, you may need to check if the Bitec FMC daughter card schematic already included in your board. There must be a retimer on your custom board. If your schematic is the same as Bitec FMC daughter card, there is no need to remove bitec definition in the rtl code, if different, you must modify the rtl and config.h code in order to work with your board
Hope this answer is helpful.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
ZH_Intel

Hi Andrey4,
Good day.
Thank you for your patience.
Allow me to clarify some of the details below:
Q1.May I know your your Quartus software version that you are using?
Q2.May I know if the project that you downloaded is from Intel design store? Did you know that we can generate a Displayport TX-only design example from the IP catalog?
We encourage you to use the latest version of Quartus software and generate the DisplayPort TX-only design example.
Q3.May I know if your custom board uses Bitec FMC daughter card?
If your answer is yes, which revision that you are using?
Looking forward to hear back from you so that we can proceed for next step.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
