Good afternoon! 1) According to Table 18 (page 45) and Note 3 to this table, the EPF10K50RC240-3N chip can be powered with voltages from 4.75 to 5.25 V.
2) According to Table 9 and Note 6, the consumption current is specified only for standby mode and can be measured at voltages from 4.75 to 5.25 V.
3) The values of the consumption current of the chip for the active mode of operation are not specified anywhere, but only a graph of the dependence of the consumption current on the frequency is given on pages 122 of the documentation.
Table 17 shows Absolute Maximum Ratings for Vcc = 7 V. When powered from 5.25 V to 7 V, the chip must be configured (stitched) and should the current be measured in standby mode (up to 10 mA) and what should it be? and what happens in the chip EPF10K50RC240-3N in this voltage range of 5.25 V to 7 V

Hi,
I don't see or even expect specifications for current consumption beyond recommended operation conditions, particularly above Vccint or Vccio above 5.25V
The only specification is that the device shouldn't be damaged with supply below maximum ratings, this doesn't necessary apply if the connected load circuit draws excessive current under this conditions.
I think that power consumption calculation formulas in datasheet are covering most cases of interest.
By the way, what are you trying to achieve with this obsolete FPGA series?
Regards
Frank

Hi,
Yes, FvM response is verifed. Let me know if you have other questions. Please know that this device was obsolete way back then. Hence we have limited information for this.
Regards,
Aiman
