FPGA MAX10 Configuring Failure

Hello,

This is Hasif.

I would like to ask a few question regarding inability to perform program designed .pof file in the MAX10 devices. The detailed explanation is written in the uploaded file. Please have a look on my document.

The main question that I would like to ask are:

1.Regarding the strange waveform occurred at TDO output signal, is there any mode that TDO output signal becomes High Impedance state when failed to perform configuring device?

2.If there are any mode that makes TDO output signal of MAX10 devices become High Impedance, please let me know what triggers the above condition.

3. What makes the MAX10 devices triggers the CONF_DONE pin not to go High?

Looking forward for the answer.

Best regards,

Hasif

Hi MHASI2,

The CONF_DONE pin did not go HIGH (ERROR ID:209014) can be caused by one of the below situations:

1.   Download cables not securely connected (JTAG pins)

2.   No power to target system (FPGA power issue)

1.   Download cables not securely connected (JTAG pins)

For this, maybe you can re-check your JTAG pins connections (TMS, TCK, TDI, TDO) on board B. I afraid there is some SI issue/voltage overshoot issue.

And one more thing, did you included diode & capacitor as below (as recommended in MAX 10 User Guide) on board B?

2.   No power to target system (FPGA power issue)

For this, can you re-check your FPGA power again (VCC, VCCIO, VCCA & etc2).

Cheers
