How to expand Cyclone III FPGA Starter Board for USB interface

I am using Cyclone III FPGA Starter Board. I want to communicate PC with sevral byte data. Now I am using Bitec HSMC prototype daughter card and control some device. I looked forum, someone suggest that we should use additional board as usb 2.0 ulpi/otg (isp1504 phy). but there are no SantaCruz interface in Cyclone III FPGA Starter Board. I want to know how to configure SantaCruz interface on HSMC prototype daughter card.

terasic (http://www.terasic.com.tw/cgi-bin/page/archive.pl?language=english&categoryno=65#category67) have a few HSMC boards, one of them having a USB connector. You can also find a HSMC to SantaCruz converter if you prefer.
