How to input unprocessed BMP image into DE2 with NIOS2 board?

Hello i am using de2 board with nios2 uproc....  

i downloaded my nios2 programs using the flash programmer and everything works... 

now to extent my work, i would like to export a bmp image file and store the image without any processing done from pc to the de2 board.... i would like to ask how can i do this... any general ideas..please comment... 

 

i am thinking using the sram for this but i am a bit unsure about the sram usage for this.... 

 

can anyone help me...

its quite useful as it is a raw format and doesnt need any decompression.
