I am thinking of using 10M04SCE144C8G with option to migrate up to 10M25SCE144C8G for further needs.

So far there is no need for Remote Upgrade, but I thought to prepare the option to use 10M04SAE144C8G for that issue.

In my design there is no need to use the internal ADC.

So my question is : if I'll design the PCB layout according to 10M25SCE144C8G,

it will support 10M04SAE144C8G also?

I compared between the pins and I found 3 differences but I thought to connect REFGND to GND, ADC_VREF to VCCA3 and ANAIN1 to GND.

Is it OK?

Hi ,

The device you are using is Max 10 , kindly see the device can be migrated from the tool. For your second question

Reference Max 10 PCG

https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/programmable/us/en/pdfs/literature/dp/max-10/pcg-01018.pdf

REFGND to GND,

Intel recommends you to tie REFGND to the GND pin with an isolating ferrite bead for the best ADC performance. Connect all GND pins to the board GND plane. (PAGE NO:12)

ADC_VREF to VCCA3 --

not recommended recommend to connect NC when not using any external reference. (Page no:13

ANAIN1 to GND.

Kindly find the recommendation page no 13 for ANAIN [1]

Regards.
