Hi,
I have purchased Intel Stratix 10 MX FPGA Development Kit thru Digi-Key.
The official product link (i.e. Intel website) is:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/details/fpga/development-kits/stratix/10-mx.html
I have selected the 30-day evaluation license to check out the software and example designs on one computer.
May I ask how I could obtain the official license for the Quartus Prime Pro Edition please ??
I could NOT find the activation code anywhere inside my order.
Do I have to purchase activation code separately ??
Or do I have to make a request to Intel or Digi-Key ??
Thanks,
TH

Hello
Welcome to INTEL forum. From my understanding the license activation code LAC will be delivered via email to the register purchaser. You could contact your salesperson or distributor regarding your LAC.

Hi everybody,
I have read the following User Guide from Intel's website:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/programmable/683867/current/overview.html
There is a section that mentions Intel Quartus Prime Software.
I have included a snippet here.
Basically, it states that the Intel Stratix 10 MX FPGA is ONLY supported on the Pro Edition, and there is NO paid license fee required for Stratix 10 support on the Pro Edition.
FYI,
Thanks,
Have a nice day,
TH

Hi AR_A_Intel,
I have sent an email to Digi-Key recently.
I have included a snippet below.
I will now wait for their response.
May I also ask what I should do in the meantime please ??
Would Intel contact Digi-Key or expect Digi-Key to contact Intel for this ??
I am NOT sure exactly what to do now.
But I know I need help from either Intel or Digi-Key or both to get this issue resolved.
I could provide the sales-order number and the invoice number upon further request as well.
Or do I have to buy an official license from Intel to check out Quartus Prime Pro Edition ??
Sincerely,
TH

Hi,
I contacted Digi-Key customer service and got this reply on 6/2/22.
I just contacted Digi-Key again on 6/7/22. BUT I have NOT heard anything from them yet.
*** May I ask if I could just use the given serial number (i.e. top figure) as a license file for Intel Quartus Prime Pro Edition (i.e. bottom figure) ?? I feel like it may NOT work, BUT I am NOT sure.
Basically, I still have NOT yet received a valid license file from either Intel or Digi-Key at this time.
My evaluation license is running out very soon here.
Please help me. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Have a nice day,
TH

Hi AR_A_Intel,
It seems like Digi-Key has NOT yet replied to me about or provided me with a one-year license for Intel Quartus Prime Pro Edition software, since last email posted.
Should I ask if Intel could give me a one-year license please ??
Otherwise, I am thinking about buying a one-year license myself, from following link:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/software/programmable/quartus-prime/download.html
Any help or response would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Have a nice day,
TH

Thanks for reaching out to me.
I can give you the information requested, but in a private channel, as suggested.
May I ask what email address I should send information to, please ??
I can even send you the receipt that Digi-Key sent me as well.
