New USB-Blaster - Which one?

Hi,

Currently we have a few of the old? USB-Blaster (terasIC with standard gray IDC ribbon cable) units and I looking to buy a new programmer for programming the Cyclone II chips.

The question is, which one?

"PL-USB-BLASTER-RCN" or "PL-USB2-BLASTER"

Is there an advantage of one over the either?

Does one program more variants of FPGA's (I thinking of trialing some current technologies)?

Thanks,

Neil.

Hi Neil,

  1. Both programmer supports cyclone series device.
  2. You can buy the new USB blaster II PL-USB2-BLASTER
  3. USB-Blaster II is faster compared to USB blaster.

Please check the datasheet for more information.

Regards

Anand
