Hi to all,
I would to use an old CPLD Altera EPM7128SLC:

1) Can I use with this CPLD 3.3v for I/o pins (This CPLD have 5V as power supply)?

2) These CPLDs are very convenient for hobbyists because they are PLCC, but they are not easily found. Do you know where you can buy them or have (Altera/Intel) PLCC alternatives?

Hello,

This CPLD device can be set for 3.3 V I/O pin operation. You may refer the data sheet of this device from this link below on page 20.

DigiKey, Mouser, and Arrow (all .com) still source the EPM7xxxAE series parts, which you can buy new.

IDK how long they will be doing this, as I really expect these parts to go EOL soon. My opinion only.

All the other EPM7xxx MAX series CPLDs are obsolete. You can buy them used on EBAY, etc.

But beware. There are unscrupulous vendors that will take random (or know bad) parts, reapply the silkscreen, and sell the parts that are basically counterfeit. So buyer beware if you are going the used route.
