Hi Team,

Hope you are doing good.

Could you please suggest if  the software updates affect the application of 10M08DAU324I7G.

  1. Our End Customer designs were compiled using a??Quartus Prime V17.0.1 Build 598 06/07/2017 Lite Editiona?? and a??Quartus Prime V17.1.0 Build 590 10/25/2017 Lite Editiona.  Are any V17.x software tools affected by the issue described in ADV2110 / PCN 118143- 00 (15-MAR-2021).

  1. One design uses a ROM: 1-PORT component created using the MegaWizard Plug-In Manager which is implemented (according to the fitter report) as altsyncram:altsyncram_component and uses M9K blocks.  This is preloaded in the FPGA .POF using a .MIF file (quartus_cdb %1 --update_mif, and quartus_asm %1).  Is this ROM module affected by the issue?

  1. Does this issue affect designs that contains SignalTap auto-generated memory blocks?

  1. Does this issue affect design that contain max10_adc1_modular_adc design blocks, which auto-generate altsyncram used as FIFOram?

Looking to hear from you at the earliest

Hi,

From the PCN, it affects Intel Quartus Standard Edition. Since you are using Lite edition, it is not impacted.

Thank You.

Regards,

Bruce
