Platform Designer - "Assign Interrupt Numbers" function - Always activate or not?

Hey everyone!

Is it always a good idea to let 'Platform Designer' deal out IRQ numbers automatically by "Assign Interrupt Numbers" function?

Does the 'Platform Designer' know how to evaluate the importance of all the IP-Cores around the Nios2 and accordingly divides the numbers from the lowest to the highest (priority)?

If not always, when should I activate?

Usually I use IIC (Internal Interrupt Controller) inside the Nios2.

Thanks
