I have a board with a Stratix10 device on and am using Quartus Prime Programmer (19.2).
I am using an Altera USB-Blaster II device to connect to the board.
In attempting to program, erase or perform an operation through the programmer I am presented with the following failure messages:
Info(209060): Started Programmer operation at
Error(18952): Error status: Synchronization failed
Error(209012): Operation failed
Info(209061): Ended Programmer operation at
Can you explain the main cause(s) for the above?

The same problem in my side. It happens time to time.
windows 10, USB-Blaster II, I am using "Stratix 10 GX FPGA development board" in PCIe slot.
I test it with Quartus Prime Programmer (18.1) and Quartus Prime Programmer (19.4)
I found out that the problem is solving by restarting the computer. I think it should be related to the driver of USB-Blaster II and Windows 10.
