Hi , we have got new failure analysis request. this is customer field return and the problem is EPM1270T144C5N failed NET +3.3V short to GND. So, we would like to send this suspect part to INTEL for further investigation .. This might concern to the EOS or EIPD. But, please support. Thank you

Hi Kulwiwat,
Yes, EPM1270T144C5N failed NET +3.3V short to GND is highly suspected because of EOS.
For your information, EOS is fall under mishandling issue and it is not cover under warranty. Hence we could not accept for failure analysis.
In order to avoid electrical damage, the device should always be handled in a static-free environment and all the input signals should remain within specified limits, as recommended in the PSG Data Book and associated application notes, at all times.
