I just purchased a Nios Development Kit, Cyclone Edition board off eBay. I got the board NO software disc. I've looked around Altera site but no luck. Looks like the board is really old.
Is there anyplace I can get the software?Link Copied

These are the documents on the board. I have these already (found these documents at this site and others via Google).
What I am talking about is the software for the board. There is a Compact Flash card with the board - I think it has been erased. I would like to reload it with the default design so I can test the operation of the board.- Mark as New

OK, I think I have what I need. I first needed to get an "adequate" power supply (I guess 9V @ 150mA wasn't enough juice for the board). Once I did that (after switching the power to give center negative), it booted up with the default design. It all works.
I also tried loading TryOutuCLinux and it works too. Since the Ethernet support seems to be better with this board vs the DM9000 on the DE2, I'm going to start working with this board for my project.
