Temperatur sensor of the "BeMicro SDK" USB stick of 2011 - does not work properly

Hello,

I was on a special great BeMicro 1-day workshop of Arrow and Altera, yesterday,

about the "new" BeMicro SDK USB stick of 2011

http://www.altera.com/b/bemicro-sdk.html

As of 2011-03, there is a software bug in the FPGA, so that the temperature sensor does not create reasonable values if read from official "C/C++" software examples ( the webserver ).

Typical values in normal conditioned rooms of 20° C at Winter/Spring time, are 32°C..34°C.

This was tested with several items, so its not that one item was defekt.

I would be pleased if any update in the FPGA ( and how to upload such an update) might be published here.

Sincerely

Rolf
